The Terrace
The Terrace: A Liveable Gallery Installation
Since the 1850s, Sydney’s terrace houses have shaped inner-city suburbs, defined by compact footprints, high ceilings, and architectural quirks that invite considered design.
The Terrace is a collaborative installation by McMullin and RAINBOW STUDIOS, reimagining a heritage terrace as a liveable, shoppable gallery.
Over three days, Rainbow Studios will be transformed room by room, with McMullin’s sculptural furniture and homewares showcased alongside Rainbow’s curated artworks. This immersive experience invites you to explore how art and interiors can shift the feeling, story, and style of a space inspiring new ways to imagine the modern home.

Weekend Highlights:
- Saturday: Oil Pastel Workshop with Phoebe Stone
- Sunday: Sunday Slow Session — Art installation with food, drinks, and vinyl on rotation for a relaxed afternoon in the space.

As the colder months came to a close, McMullin transformed its showroom into a cosy cinema for the ultimate movie night. Attendees sunk into the new range of sofas, armchairs and beds to enjoy the award-winning 'Lost In Translation'. Drinks flowed courtesy of Continental Deli, TULA, and Fox Wines, and elevated movie snacks were served on stainless steel platters. What better way to spend a Thursday night?
