SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We provide multiple delivery options for both domestic and international orders to help get your McMullin order to you in a way that suits you best.
Please note: This Shipping & Delivery page should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, our Terms & Conditions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
LEAD TIME & DISPATCH
Arrival dates for pre-order and lead-time items are estimates only and may vary due to global supply chain conditions and the nature of our handmade production. Our team will keep you updated via the email address provided on your order and notify you of any changes.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, your order may be split so the in-stock pieces can be sent to you sooner. In this case, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment once dispatched.
We appreciate your patience. Your McMullin piece is well worth the wait.
In Stock Items
- Items marked In Stock are available in our Sydney warehouse and will be dispatched within ten (10) business days of placing your order.
- If your order also contains pre-order items scheduled to arrive within the same month, we may hold the order so all items can be sent together.
- Once dispatched, your item will be collected by our third-party courier. Delivery times vary depending on your location and the courier selected.
Pre-order Items
- For pre-order items, we provide the expected arrival month into our Australian warehouse.
- Arrival dates may change due to factors outside our control, including production and freight delays, customs and other supply chain disruptions.
- If your pre-order item arrives earlier than expected, please ensure you can facilitate early acceptance. Redelivery fees may apply where a delivery cannot be completed, is refused, is missed, or must be rebooked due to access limitations or delivery address issues.
- If you need to update your delivery address, please contact us at hello@mcmullinandco.com as early as possible, and before dispatch from our warehouse.
DELIVERY
A street address for delivery must be provided at the time of placing the order, we are unable to deliver to a PO Box.
Should your delivery address change, it is your responsibility to let us know prior to dispatch by emailing hello@mcmullinandco.com. If your order is sent to the incorrect address and returned to McMullin, a redelivery fee may apply.
McMullin reserves the right to request extra freight contributions for remote/rural areas or for large/heavy orders.
For items delivered by courier, delivery is deemed effective when the delivery company obtains a signed Proof of Delivery (POD) or delivery docket confirming receipt of the goods.
For Express Courier Delivery, if no one is available at the delivery address to sign for the goods, the driver may use their discretion to determine whether a safe location exists to leave the goods. Effective delivery is determined and recorded in such circumstances.
McMullin accepts no liability for goods left unattended at a location deemed safe by the driver. If you have specific delivery requirements or do not wish for your order to be left unattended, please contact us before dispatch.
DOMESTIC DELIVERY OPTIONS
We are pleased to offer a range of delivery options. The size of your order or fragility of items purchased will determine the delivery options which are available to you in your area.
McMullin reserves the right to request extra freight contributions for remote/rural areas or for large/heavy orders.
Our courier services are below:
Express Courier Delivery | 1 man, delivery to ground floor
Our Express Courier Delivery is serviced by Direct Freight and is offered for most of our furniture and homewares. Their couriers will deliver direct to the ground floor of your building, but not inside your home.
Deliveries are only available Monday to Friday and delivery time is estimated below:
Delivery to Sydney Metro areas within 1-3 business days of dispatch
Delivery to Melbourne Metro areas within 1-3 business days of dispatch
Delivery to Brisbane Metro areas within 2-4 business days of dispatch
Delivery to all other areas within 7 business days of dispatch
If you think you may have trouble moving your goods inside your home alone, we recommend that you have someone available to help you carry the items into your home, unpack and install your furniture. If this isn't an option, we recommend using one of our alternative 2 man services for heavy/bulky items.
We are currently unable to offer selection of specific delivery date or time, weekend deliveries or holding stock.
Sydney Metro Hand Delivery | 1 man, delivery to door
Our Sydney Metro Hand Delivery is offered for most furniture items and homewares. Our couriers will deliver direct to the door of your home, but not inside your home.
Once your order is ready, our warehouse team will contact you to arrange a delivery date of your choosing between Monday to Friday with a delivery window of 9:00am-5:00pm. The delivery time cannot be specified.
If you think you may have trouble moving your goods inside your home alone, we recommend that you have someone available to help you carry the items into your home, unpack and install your furniture. If this isn't an option, we recommend using one of our alternative 2-man services for heavy/bulky items.
We are currently unable to offer selection of specific delivery date or time, weekend deliveries or holding stock.
Premium Delivery* | Sensitive Freight 2 Man Service – Metro Areas Only
We use a dedicated sensitive freight service that covers most metro areas in ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC. This is a 2-man premium service that will place the item into the room of your choice and is the nominated service for delivery of our larger or more fragile items. Once your order has been dispatched, our couriers will contact you within three (3) business days to provide a selection of delivery date options. Delivery will take up to ten (10) business days once your order has been dispatched.
Please take note of the following courier guidelines:
Couriers will not collect or relocate the receiver’s household items to accommodate new products or unpack or remove any waste from the delivery residence. The access to that room must be clear and without hazards or obstacles. This is the responsibility of the receiver. Couriers will avoid using handling devices within the house/residence such as e.g. hand trolleys. However, they may be necessary in some instances.
White Glove Delivery* | Sensitive Freight 2 Man Service, Assembly & Rubbish Removal – Metro Areas Only
Our White Glove Delivery is available for most metro areas in ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC. This deluxe service includes 2-man delivery into your home, product assembly and removal of product packaging generated from the delivery. Once your order has been dispatched, our couriers will contact you within three (3) business days to provide a selection of delivery date options. Delivery will take up to ten (10) business days once your order has been dispatched.

Sydney Warehouse Pick Up
We offer pick up from our warehouse in Botany, NSW during our opening hours. Our team will contact you by email once your order is ready to collect, and you must be available to collect within ten (10) business days of that notification. We require 24 hours notice of your intended collection day. You will need to ensure that your or your courier have suitable size vehicle for your order.

Customer-Nominated Shipping & Collection Terms
Once your order is ready for collection or delivery, our team will contact you by email. You must arrange collection or delivery within ten (10) business days of notification.
If we have advised you by email and phone that your order is ready for collection or delivery and we have not received a reply within four (4) weeks to arrange a collection or delivery date, we reserve the right to allocate the stock to another customer. Your order will then be fulfilled from the next available stock arrival, or a store credit will be applied to your account for the value of the product.
Any holding of stock beyond the above timeframe is at McMullin’s discretion and must be agreed in writing before dispatch or collection.
Pallet Shipping
Our pallet shipping service is available for trade or wholesale customers. We use this service for large orders which require delivery on a pallet. Please contact trade@mcmullinandco.com to enquire about this service.

Remote Area & Northern Territory Deliveries
We currently deliver to most areas across Australia, however there are some locations we are unable to service through our online store.
Northern Territory
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to the Northern Territory at this time, as our freight carriers do not service this region. We know this is disappointing, and we'd still love to help — please reach out to our team and we'll do our best to find a solution for you, whether that's exploring alternative arrangements or helping you identify your nearest depot in an adjacent state.
Remote Areas of WA, SA & QLD
Due to the freight requirements involved, we are also unable to process online orders to certain remote and very remote postcodes in Western Australia, South Australia, and Queensland. If your delivery address falls within one of these areas, you will be unable to complete your order at checkout.
In all cases, we encourage you to contact us — we're committed to finding the best possible solution for every customer.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Standard Delivery | 1 man, delivery to ground floor.
We work with FedEx and/or our nominated international courier for international shipping. Our website will calculate a quote through the checkout process for most smaller products.
Shipping rates quoted at checkout are exclusive of import duties, taxes and customs charges. All applicable import duties, taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the product price or shipping costs. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and may be billed directly to you by the courier before or upon delivery.
Due to the fragile nature of our mirrors and other selected products, we are unable to ship these internationally. For oversize items such as bedheads, please contact us at hello@mcmullinandco.com for a shipping quote.
International couriers will deliver Monday to Friday, direct to the ground floor of your building, but not inside your home.
Delivery time is estimated at 7–10 business days from the date of dispatch.

Freight Forwarder
