Our pieces were recently featured in The Design Files Apartment Project — a considered installation exploring the nuances of apartment living. Styled by The Design Files team at East Brunswick Village and captured by photographer Amelia Stanwix, the space reflects a thoughtful approach to living with less, but better.
McMullin at The Design Files
Presented as a two-day event, the project brought together a curated selection of locally designed furniture, lighting and Australian art. More than an exhibition, it offered a lived-in perspective — an apartment that felt resolved yet personal, inviting visitors to move through and experience each space as they would their own home.
There was a sense of restraint throughout — materials kept honest, palettes softened, and objects chosen not for excess, but for their ability to hold meaning over time.
Living, Refined
Within the dining space, our Dining Chairs grounded the room with their understated form, balancing function with a sculptural presence. Nearby, our Ceramic Vases were placed throughout the apartment — on shelves, tables and quiet corners — introducing texture, rhythm and moments of stillness.
These subtle gestures speak to a broader approach to small-space living: one that prioritises clarity over clutter, and pieces that can evolve with you. Each object is considered not just for how it looks, but how it lives — how it supports daily rituals, catches the light, and contributes to a sense of calm.
The result is a home that feels both intentional and effortless — an environment shaped by thoughtful design, where less becomes more, and every piece has room to breathe.
