At McMullin, our products are primarily handmade in small, family-owned and operated factories in Northern West Java, Indonesia, and China. These partnerships go beyond mere business relationships; they represent a shared commitment to enriching the lives of the employees and their communities. We take great pride in the economic advancement and development that our collaborations bring to these regions, ensuring that our impact is positive and enduring.
Visiting these factories is more than just a business trip for us; it’s an opportunity to connect with the people who bring our products to life. We cherish the time spent with these families, visiting their homes, and deepening our understanding of their culture and way of life. This connection fosters a sense of mutual respect and shared purpose, reinforcing our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.
We also support a local charity, Wisma Cheshire, which is dedicate to housing adult men and woman with mobility disabilities. Since 1974, they have been empowering disabled individuals to learn vocational skills in carpentry. handicraft, sewing, and tailoring. Wisma Cheshire provides dignity and a financial independence that would otherwise be unachievable.
