Created in dialogue with Hakusho, Lucy Anderson’s exclusive works bring warmth, imperfection, and expressive mark-making to the collection’s clean, sculptural lines.

Striking form, pure materiality and functionality are at the heart of the Hakusho Collection. Stainless steel is reimagined into soft geometry, sculptural lines and a quietly sophisticated presence that shapes the rhythm of a room. It is the modern neutral: crisp, cool and effortlessly adaptable. The finish you choose, brushed or polished, changes everything.

Rooted in a love of design, local craftsmanship, and the belief that enduring objects enrich the way we live, Australian design practice Lette crafts solid timber furniture made to be used and cherished for generations to come. Thoughtfully designed in Torquay and handcrafted in Melbourne, each piece reflects founder Lou’s intentional rejection of the ‘fast-furniture’ movement, favouring quality and creativity in its place.

Jade Gillett and Goldie (Brent Gold) are the co-founders and creative directors behind RAINBOW STUDIOS, an ever evolving creative, two level showroom/space in Darlinghurst that lives somewhere between an art gallery, event venue and a creative playground. Created as a home for expression, collaboration and curation, it’s a growing platform that supports artists, designers and brands to create meaningful cultural experiences. Together, the pair lead the creative direction across everything, from visual identity and interiors to exhibitions and immersive events.

We visited interior stylist and newly published author Kerrie-Ann Jones at her Sydney pop-up, a space that blends mid-century design with sculptural objects and quiet moments of joy. Tanchen is the considered collaboration between Sanchia Tan and Amber Chen — two creatives with a shared vision for elevating the everyday through thoughtful, tactile design. With backgrounds spanning textiles, fine art, and spatial design, the duo explores the intersection of function and form, creating objects that bring quiet beauty into the home. Their practice centres on textiles as sculptural elements — pieces that hold space, carry weight, and invite touch. Each work speaks to their shared appreciation for materiality, restraint, and craft.

Perched just above Oxford Street in the heart of Darlinghurst, the new MAISON ESSENTIELE showroom is far more than a place to shop — it’s a physical expression of the brand’s ethos. We sat down with Director Liv Koennecke to talk about how the space came together — and the mood she hopes you’ll feel the moment you step inside.

COLLABORATIONS

James Azerrat a dedicated local woodworker, welcomed us into his workshop, where we spent the morning discussing his passion for craftsmanship and the beauty of working with natural materials. His approach to woodworking is both intuitive and precise, guided by the unique character of each piece of timber. During our visit, James shared how he carefully selects and shapes his handcrafted chopping boards, blending function with artistry to create timeless, heirloom-quality pieces. He also spoke about his journey from Rakino Island to Australia, his deep appreciation for the natural grain of wood, and the joy he finds in creating pieces that will be used and loved for generations.

Matt Lennon, the Global Head of Brand at SARAH & SEBASTIAN, welcomed us into his thoughtfully curated home, where we spent the morning discussing his approach to design, storytelling, and creative direction. His space is a reflection of his philosophy—layered, lived-in, and deeply personal, with an effortless balance of vintage charm and contemporary design. During our visit, Matt shared how he styled our latest pieces within his home, seamlessly integrating them into a setting rich with art, meaningful objects, and a sense of warmth.

MCMULLIN X SEPTEMBER STUDIO: A COLLABORATION IN FORM & FLORALS McMullin has partnered with local florist September Studio to create a bespoke, handblown vase designed with artistry and modern spaces in mind. Crafted to complement September Studio’s signature floral arrangements, this collaboration merges sculptural design with natural beauty, elevating interiors through a timeless and artful experience.

Amelia Rushforth, a talented photographer, welcomed us into her beautifully styled home, where we spent the morning discussing her approach to design and interiors. Her warm and inviting space perfectly reflects her philosophy of creating a lived-in atmosphere, rich with natural light and timeless charm. During our visit, Amelia shared how she styled our Robbi Floor Lamp and Beatrix Bed Head, seamlessly blending them into her classic, wood-clad-inspired aesthetic. She also spoke about her latest photography project—a soon-to-be-released book—and her journey through motherhood.
